LUCIA ROSIN
I took my first steps in the clothing and textile field by attending the Istituto Natta in Padua from which I received my diploma.
After that I specialized in Fashion design in the Istituto Secoli in Milan and I finally completed my study experience by attending the Università di Architettura in Venice.
Since early childhood I have collected vintage pieces bought in flea markets during my trips around the world and on these trips I developed my passion for photography; first landscapes, then towns and finally people. My work gets its inspiration from my passion for exploring colors, shapes and fabrics. I have worked and traveled a lot around Europe, Japan, the USA, China and India. After various experiences with important firms as an employee, I started my own business as a free lance consultant in 1997 and in 2000 I started the MEIDEA PROJECT. I am particularly interested in the world of denim where I have the chance to apply my knowledge of various fields from style to fabric, from laundry finishing to accessories. It is a job in which the knowledge of the various processes involved is very important to achieve the final product, where skill and creativity combine with technology and innovation.
Passion and curiosity are fundamental both in my work and in my life, ensuring a continual renewal of inspiration and ideas. |
